It's a monotreme -- that is, a mammal that lays eggs. Fascinating creatures. And I find myself identifying not only with their misunderstood, strange appearances, but now with their biology as well! Ha ha.
Well, some pregnancies are rather more difficult than others. Complications, variations, etc. I'm trying to get together a large enough sample size to know what to expect.
Aren't we all just delightfully weird, though? Some of us more than others, granted. But weirdness is a wonderful part of the human condition!
